He possesses the mutant ability to run at superhuman speeds over great distances. With speeds of over 175 mph, he can create a whirlwind by running in a circle; his temper can be as quick as his feet.

In actuality he's only a part of the dysfunctional Brotherhood because they needed a heavy lifter. He has superhuman strength and durability and his huge body can absorb projectiles from bullets to artillery shells, and is impervious to injury.

Of all the mutant powers a person could get, Toad got his from the bottom of the genetic barrel. His tongue can stretch up to 25 feet and he has the ability to leap great heights and spit a green adhesive substance from his mouth. It's no wonder he envies everyone else's powers with such pathos. But the bottom line is Toad is thrilled to be hanging with the big boys, no matter what they make him do.

She's a free spirit with an optimistic outlook mixed with self-destructive tendencies. She views the world as a place needing to "lighten up," which is no doubt part of her efforts to disassociate herself from her own difficult childhood. Boom-Boom has the power to create small or large balls of energy that detonate like time bombs. But with this devil-may-care attitude, she doesn't give a thought about the consequences of her actions, nor the little wake of destruction she tends to leave behind.

Dust

Sooraya Qadir was a slave liberated by Wolverine. Subsequently enrolled as a student at the Xavier Institute, she was originally placed in the Special Class. When the class instructor was manipulated into believing he was Magneto, Sooraya joined the X-Men in opposing him. Later, when the student body was organized into squads, Sooraya was placed with the rebellious Hellions. Seemingly out of place with her respect for tradition and strong moral code, Sooraya still did her best to work with her teammates.

Pyro

Originally from Australia, Pyro has the mutant ability to control fire. Since he can't generate fire himself, he wears an insulated costume with flame-shooters in his wrists in order to produce flames on demand. Pyro can be very whimsical with his fiery creations, having a little too much fun with them, often forming the flames into representations of birds, dragons, horses or giant fists. However, Pyro is clearly swayed by dark impulses and as such is drawn to mutant gangs.

Before the detonation of an experimental gamma bomb, scientist Bruce Banner mistakenly drove onto the testing field. Banner was caught in the blast and absorbed massive amounts of radiation. And so was the "Hulk" created. Fueled by gamma radiation, the Hulk possesses almost unlimited physical strength. The madder he gets, the stronger he gets. He can leap several miles in a single bound. His body heals almost instantly.

She can read minds and project thoughts into other's minds, controlling their actions. She can project mental blasts to knock out her victims by touching their brow and is able to change her skin into diamond form.

His mastery over the forces of magnetism makes him a rousing leader to the mutant nation of Genosha and a formidable foe for Wolverine and the X-Men.

Season 1, Episode 5: Thieves Gambit




Magma is being chased by the M.R.D. In the middle of a road she turns to a burning being and the cars suddenly stop around her. Wolverine rescues Magma from the M,R.D. and uses an inhibitor collar built by Forge to help control her powers. Wolverine asks for the collar back, she is reluctant to take it off, but finally takes it off. Meanwhile, Dr. Sybil Zane hires Gambit to steal that collar from the X-Men for Senator Kelly and it is up to Wolverine to get it back. Gambit attacks Wolverine in his laboratory with fire cards, he admits to Wolverine that he has been hired for cash, but Wolverine sets his money on fire and offers him double the amount, if he helps discovering whom he is working for. In the end Gambit and Wolverine manage to get back the collar.

Orphaned at an early age, Ororo Munroe turned to a life of crime to survive on the mean streets of Cairo, Egypt. When her mutant power to control weather patterns emerged, she was worshipped as a goddess by the tribes. Eventually Ororo found her true purpose at Professor Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, where she helps the X-Men as Storm. Storm can control the creation of rain, snow, sleet, fog, hail, and lightning.

Professor X shows Wolverine a future vision of a destroyed Africa and reveals that Storm is the one who destroyed it. It isn't long before the Shadow King tries to take control of Storm's body. Could this be the end of Storm and Africa?

Characters : Nightcrawler


Nightcrawler

Because of his demon-like appearance, the only place that circus performer Kurt Wagner ever felt truly welcome was at Professor Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. Able to teleport himself and a limited amount of extra mass over short distances, this mischievous, German-born mutant consistently proves himself a major asset to Wolverine and the X-Men.

Season 1, Episode 3: Hindsight: Part 3




With help from Angel, the X-Men are able to move back into the re-built mansion. Forge has been brought to the team to repair Cerebro and the Blackbird. The telepathic Emma Frost, the beautiful former headmistress of the Massachusetts Academy, requests to join the X-Men in order to help find Professor X. Wolverine is suspicious at the start but reluctantly agrees, believing that Emma only has intentions to take control of Cerebro. Emma Frost is able to locate Professor X in Magneto's controlled mutant nation of Genosha. Now with Cyclops back in action, Wolverine leads the X-Men on a mission into enemy territory in order to retrieve their lost mentor.

Colossus is also a talented artist, he only reluctantly agrees to use his powers in combat, feeling it is his responsibility to use his abilities for the betterment of human and mutant-kind.

Enrolled in the school since she was only thirteen, the spunky young mutant called Shadowcat serves as a cheerleader for Xavier's mission and a valued teammate to Wolverine and the X-Men.

Beast and Wolverine try to bring back the X-Men who have left, but some, such as Cyclops, Colossus and Rogue, do not wish to return. Rogue takes up the cause of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, who have sinister plans to attack Senator Kelly. Kelly's plan is to push forth a Mutant Registration Act. Meanwhile, Angel's father, Warren Worthington, is funding the M.R.D., building anti-mutant robots. The remaining X-Men seek to stop the Brotherhood, despite Kelly's stance on mutants.
